Description

The Harvia Club K12.5G is a 12.5 kW floor-standing electric sauna heater for rooms of 494–742 adjusted cubic feet running on 208VAC 3PH or 240VAC 1PH. It takes 132 lb of 5-10cm sauna stones (sold separately). It requires a separate Harvia control unit, sold separately.

The Harvia Club is the series Harvia builds for saunas that run all day. The chassis is a wide, low stainless steel floor unit with a deep stone bed and a protective outer casing designed to survive the traffic of a hotel, gym or club changing room where the heater is on for twelve hours at a stretch.

  • Deluxe stainless steel interior and exterior
  • Multi-layer construction for cooler surface temperature and greater safety
  • Rocks have direct contact with electric elements to filter harsh heat
  • Optional 24-Hour time clock
  • Built for continuous commercial duty cycles

Sizing

The Harvia Club K12.5G is rated for 494–742 adjusted cubic feet.

Adjusted cubic feet = width × depth × height in feet, plus 45 cu ft for every square foot of glass, tile, concrete or stone, plus 15 cu ft for every square foot of exposed log wall. A 6 × 7 ft room with a 7 ft ceiling is 294 raw cu ft — add a full-glass door and it becomes 834. Always size to the adjusted number.

Model Output Room Volume Stones Rated Amps
Club K10G 10 kW 388–600 cu ft 132 lbs 41.7
Club K12.5G 12.5 kW 494–742 cu ft 132 lbs 52.7
Club K15G 15 kW 600–989 cu ft 132 lbs 61.7

Installation & Use Notes
  • Mount to the clearances given in the installation manual. The temperature sensor goes on the wall above the heater, at the height the manual specifies.
  • Load the stones loosely by hand, largest at the bottom, so air moves freely between them. Never run the heater with an empty or tightly packed stone space.
  • Pour small ladlefuls of clean water onto the hot stones only — never onto the body, elements or controls. Mix any scented oil into the bucket first.
  • Re-stack the stones once a year and replace any that have cracked or crumbled.
  • Stones ship separately on their own freight because of the weight.
FAQs

Does the Harvia Club K12.5G include a control unit?

No, and it cannot run without one. It needs a separate Harvia control unit, sold separately: Harvia Xenio CX45. The control mounts outside the hot room, which is what lets you preheat the sauna before you walk in.

Can the Harvia Club K12.5G be plugged into a normal outlet?

No. It is a hardwired appliance on its own dedicated circuit, rated at 52.7 A. A licensed electrician sizes the breaker and conductors from the nameplate and installation manual.

How long does the Harvia Club K12.5G take to heat up?

Harvia does not publish a figure. A correctly sized, well-insulated room is usually ready in 30 to 60 minutes. Consistently longer than an hour normally means the heater is undersized for the room's adjusted cubic feet.
