The Harvia KIP45B is a 4.5 kW wall-mounted electric sauna heater for rooms of 100–210 adjusted cubic feet running on 240VAC 1PH. It takes 44 lb of 5-10cm sauna stones (sold separately). Controls are built into the heater, so no separate control unit is required.
The Harvia KIP is the heater most home saunas end up with, and for good reason: it is a compact, wall-hung stainless steel unit that clears the floor completely, holds 44 lb of stones, and is available in the exact power steps that residential rooms need. It is also the only Harvia residential line offered both with built-in controls and as a bare heater for use with a separate wall-mounted controller.
Controls are built into this heater. No separate control unit is needed, and none can be added.
These are not included with the heater. You need them before the sauna will run.

The Harvia KIP45B is rated for 100–210 adjusted cubic feet.
Adjusted cubic feet = width × depth × height in feet, plus 45 cu ft for every square foot of glass, tile, concrete or stone, plus 15 cu ft for every square foot of exposed log wall. A 6 × 7 ft room with a 7 ft ceiling is 294 raw cu ft — add a full-glass door and it becomes 834. Always size to the adjusted number.

Yes. The thermostat and timer are built into the heater body, so there is nothing else to buy to run it. The trade-off is that you cannot start it from outside the room or from a phone.
No. It is a hardwired appliance on its own dedicated circuit, rated at 18.8 A. A licensed electrician sizes the breaker and conductors from the nameplate and installation manual.
Harvia does not publish a figure. A correctly sized, well-insulated room is usually ready in 30 to 60 minutes. Consistently longer than an hour normally means the heater is undersized for the room's adjusted cubic feet.
