Ergonomics - Barrel Sauna Comfort Bathing comfort cannot be overlooked when investing in an outdoor sauna barrel. The diameter of the barrel and the bench/backrest configuration must be considered. Barrels with a small diameter may be priced lower (less materials), but the tradeoffs are door height, bench comfort, and headroom. Smaller diameter barrels have a tighter arc which can create seating posture challenges, impact standing upright, and require one to duck upon entry and exit. SaunaLife ships this on a pallet by LTL freight, curbside. The carrier calls ahead to book a delivery window, and someone has to be there to sign for it.

• The kit arrives flat-packed as numbered panels and assembles without specialist tools. Two people and most of a day is typical.
• Site it on a level, load-bearing base. The supplied foundation beams spread the load but do not correct a slope.
• Leave working room on every side while you build, and clearance at the back for the heater connections and ventilation.
