The HUUM UKU Wi-Fi is the sauna control for every HUUM electric heater, rated to 11 kW on its own. The panel mounts outside the hot room and connects to Wi-Fi, so the sauna can be started and monitored from the HUUM app.
UKU is the only control HUUM makes, and every HUUM electric heater needs one — the heaters ship with no controls on the body at all. The panel mounts outside the hot room and switches the heater through a separate power unit, which is what lets you bring the room up to temperature before you walk in.

A UKU switches up to 11 kW on its own. Heaters above that — HIVE 12, 15 and 18 — also need the UKU Extension Box.
Which HUUM heaters does the UKU work with?
All of them. Every HUUM electric heater is designed around the UKU and ships without controls of its own. Heaters over 11 kW — HIVE 12, 15 and 18 — need a UKU Extension Box in addition.
Can the UKU Wi-Fi panel go inside the sauna?
No. The panel mounts outside the hot room. Only the temperature sensor goes inside, on the wall above the heater at the height the manual specifies.
Can I start the sauna from my phone?
Yes. The Wi-Fi UKU pairs with the HUUM app, so you can start, stop and monitor the sauna remotely and see when the room is up to temperature. The Local version has no app — it is operated at the door.
