The Harvia LTY45 is a power extension unit that raises the maximum load a Harvia Xenio control can switch to 38 kW, for large rooms running more than one heater. It is not a control on its own — a Xenio control unit is still required.
The LTY45 lets one Xenio control switch up to 38 kW, which is how large and commercial rooms run two heaters from a single panel. Harvia lists it as required alongside the control on the Virta Pro heaters.

The LTY45 works with the Harvia Xenio CX30, CX45 and CX170 control units.

- The power unit is hardwired between the supply and the heater by a licensed electrician; the panel and the temperature sensor are wired back to it to the lengths the installation manual gives.
- The temperature sensor mounts inside the hot room, on the wall above the heater, at the height the manual specifies. Sensor position changes how the room behaves more than any setting on the panel does.
Can the LTY45 Power Extension Unit be mounted inside the sauna?
No. This panel mounts outside the hot room. Only the temperature sensor goes inside, on the wall above the heater.
Does the LTY45 Power Extension Unit need an electrician?
Yes. The power unit is hardwired between the supply and the heater, and the sensor and data cable have to be run to the manual's specification. In most US jurisdictions that is work a licensed electrician has to do and an inspector signs off.
