Finnmark FD-5 Trinity XL Infra-Steam Sauna

The Finnmark FD-5 Trinity XL Infra-Steam Sauna is a 4-person infrared and traditional sauna measuring 48" (121.9 cm) wide × 72" (182.8 cm) deep × 83" (210.8 cm) high, running on a 240V 18.8A supply. It reaches 170° F on infrared and 190° F on the traditional heater.

Finnmark states the cabin is ETL certified and that the short-wave Spectrum Plus infrared panels are UL listed. Ask us for the certificates if your inspector or insurer wants to see them.

Measure the exterior against your space, and the door against the route you will carry the panels through. The cabin arrives flat as panels, so the constraint is usually the doorway rather than the room.

The traditional side of this cabin is a Harvia heater on Harvia stones. Those are the same parts we stock, so replacements and extra stones are easy to source.

• The cabin arrives flat as numbered panels and assembles with the supplied screws. Two people and a couple of hours is the usual job.
• Site it on a level floor. The supplied adjustable feet take up small variations, but the panels need a flat base to seat squarely.
• Infrared cabins are for indoor use on a finished floor. Leave clearance at the back for the power connections and airflow.
• The traditional heater takes sauna stones and water; the infrared panels do not. Never pour water onto an infrared panel.

What electrical supply does the FD-5 need?

A dedicated 240V circuit rated at least 18.8 A for the infrared side. The traditional heater is a separate 4500 W load and the file publishes no amperage for it, so have your electrician size the combined draw from the nameplate.

What does Infra-Steam mean on the FD-5?

It has both heat sources: 2700 W of infrared panels reaching 170° F, and a 4500 W traditional heater reaching 190° F, so you can take a dry infrared session or a conventional steam sauna in the same cabin.

Will the FD-5 fit through my doorway?

It ships flat as panels rather than assembled, so the doorway is rarely the problem — the largest single panel is what matters, not the 48" (121.9 cm) × 72" (182.8 cm) assembled footprint. Measure your space against the exterior dimensions above.
