| Circuit | Output | Voltage | Phase | Rated Amps |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Infrared | 1750 W | 120V | Single | 15 A |
120V at 15 A is an ordinary household circuit. No 240V work, which is what makes an infrared cabin far simpler to install than a traditional sauna heater. Who Installs It
A licensed electrician, working to the installation manual and your local electrical code.
The FD-2 Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna seats 2. Interior 44" (111.76 cm) × 40" (101.6 cm) × 70" (177.8 cm); exterior 44" (111.7 cm) × 48" (121.9 cm) × 78" (198.1 cm).
Measure the exterior against your space, and the door against the route you will carry the panels through. The cabin arrives flat as panels, so the constraint is usually the doorway rather than the room.

What Finnmark publishes about infrared heat. These are the manufacturer's claims, not medical advice.
- The natural heat produced by the Spectrum Plus heaters is designed to achieve a more controlled hot climate much like a traditional sauna without the unbearable heat temperatures. This deeper penetration through sweating goes beyond the muscle and fat rather than a traditional or hot air sauna. As a result, you're able to work up the best possible sweat in the least amount of time.
- Full Spectrum Sauna combination of long-wave Spectrum Carbon 360 infrared panels with UL-listed short-wave Spectrum Plus infrared panels. This combination provides higher temperatures, full body coverage, deeper penetration, and better experience than any other sauna.
- Reap the benefits of a more natural pain relief remedy with every infrared sauna session.
- Athletes can appreciate a faster muscle recovery with increased blood flow to the muscles, delivering more concentrated oxygen and creating more energy to heal.
Finnmark makes these to fit the FD-2. All sold separately.

Finnmark 2-Person Sauna Cushion
- The cabin arrives flat as numbered panels and assembles with the supplied screws. Two people and a couple of hours is the usual job.
- Site it on a level floor. The supplied adjustable feet take up small variations, but the panels need a flat base to seat squarely.
- Infrared cabins are for indoor use on a finished floor. Leave clearance at the back for the power connections and airflow.
- This is an LTL freight item. It arrives curbside on a pallet — note any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign.
Does the FD-2 need special wiring?
No. It runs on a 120V 15 A circuit — an ordinary household supply. That is the main practical advantage of an infrared cabin over a traditional sauna heater, which normally needs a 240V hardwired circuit.
How hot does the FD-2 get?
170° F. Finnmark states it reaches that in under an hour on a standard outlet. Infrared warms the body directly rather than heating the air, so it works at a lower air temperature than a traditional sauna.
Will the FD-2 fit through my doorway?
It ships flat as panels rather than assembled, so the doorway is rarely the problem — the largest single panel is what matters, not the 44" (111.7 cm) × 48" (121.9 cm) assembled footprint. Measure your space against the exterior dimensions above.
