A dedicated 110V / 60 Hz outlet on a GFCI-protected circuit. The engine peaks at 14.5 A, so specify a 20 A circuit and have a licensed electrician confirm it. Water
A garden hose. The Gardena fill and drain attachment is supplied, and no plumbing connection is needed. A Level Base

Every engine has a GFCI breaker built into its power cord, and Icetubs requires the outlet itself to be on a GFCI breaker in the main panel as well. The Cord Box
The breaker box on the cable is water-resistant, not waterproof. Outdoors it must be mounted against a wall, clear of the ground and out of direct rain. Why 20 A

The Operational Manual in the box is the European document and quotes 220–230V at 50 Hz. That is the EU build of the same engine. The unit we ship is the 110V / 60 Hz version — the figures above are the ones to give your electrician.

Water Care & Maintenance

A cold plunge holds about 106 gallons, so one bather changes the water chemistry far more than they would in a pool. This is the part of ownership people underestimate.

Ozone
Built in, 200-300 mg/h. Breaks down body oils and organics so the water lasts without chlorine Filter

  • Wipe the waterline with a damp microfibre cloth; sodium bicarbonate lifts body oils.
