The Bromic Eclipse Smart-Heat Portable is a 2900W freestanding electric infrared patio heater with a built-in dimmable LED light. It warms up to 121 sq. ft., plugs into a 240V outdoor outlet, and comes with the Eclipse dimmer controller and remote so you can set three heat levels and the light separately.

What power does it need?
A 220-240V single-phase supply (12.1 amps at 240V), not a standard 120V household outlet. It plugs in, but Bromic requires an IP54 rated outdoor plug and socket installed by a licensed electrician.
Is a remote or app control included?
Yes. It comes with the Eclipse dimmer controller and a wireless remote, and the included Affinity Eclipse control also works with the Bromic Heating app.
Can I run the light without the heat?
Yes. Heat and light are adjusted separately, so you can use the LED light on its own.
Is it easy to move?
It is freestanding but heavy. The weighted base brings the total to about 383 lbs, so plan on two people to set it up on level ground, and keep it close to its 240V outlet.
Can it be used indoors or under a covered patio?
Yes. It is IP54 rated for outdoor use and Bromic approves it for indoor commercial and residential spaces too. Keep the heater head at least 5.9ft above the floor, leave 3.3ft clear in front of it, and don't place it directly below or in front of an outlet.

Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the continental United States only. We don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada at this time.
How long will my order take?
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days, and orders placed before 2 PM EST start processing the same day. Orders don't process or ship on weekends or holidays, so anything placed after 2 PM on Friday or over the weekend starts processing the next business day. In-stock items usually arrive within 3-9 business days.
Some products are made to order and take longer. When that's the case, the lead time is listed on the product page.
How does freight delivery work?
Larger items ship by freight. Here's what to expect:
- The carrier will call to schedule a delivery window, Monday to Friday
- Someone 18 or older needs to be there to receive and sign for it
- Delivery is curbside, lowered by liftgate to your driveway or nearest accessible spot
- Please double check your phone number at checkout so you don't miss the carrier's call
