While conventional burners heat the air around food and typically reach around 500°F, this infrared burner radiates direct heat to the food surface and reaches up to 1,000°F — producing the intense, caramelized crust that locks in juices and creates those signature grill marks. At 20,000 BTU, it delivers superior searing performance on steaks, chops, seafood, and vegetables. Installation takes seconds — simply drop it into the burner position and connect the gas.
