The Bromic Tungsten Smart-Heat Gas Heater – 500 Series is a high-output outdoor gas patio heater built for larger residential and commercial spaces that need strong radiant heat performance with a bold, modern design. Finished in matte black and engineered for wall or ceiling mounting, this premium gas heater delivers a warming red glow and dependable heat in outdoor environments year-round.
Designed for covered patios, outdoor dining areas, restaurants, and hospitality environments, the 500 Series provides up to 43,000 BTUs of heat output and coverage of up to 215 square feet. It is available in both Natural Gas and Liquid Propane configurations and includes a wall or ceiling mounting system for flexible installation.
For installations with lower clearances, a heat deflector is recommended to help protect the mounting surface while improving weather resistance and directing heat more effectively into the living space. This heater is also compatible with Bromic Affinity Smart On/Off controls for convenient operation.

Gas patio heaters must be installed in accordance with local gas and electrical codes. Improper installation may result in fire, injury, or property damage. Professional installation is recommended.
This gas heater comes with a wall-mount bracket and can also be ceiling-mounted using an optional ceiling pole, sized to your ceiling height. For low-clearance ceilings, add a heat deflector to reduce the required overhead clearance. Gas heaters are on/off only — control yours with a Bromic On/Off control and wireless app, or a manual wall switch. (For dimmable output, see our electric heaters.)
