The heater comes with a standard bracket for wall or ceiling mounting and a power cord that plugs into a 110V outlet (2 amps). For ceiling installs, choose a ceiling mount pole sized to your ceiling height, from 10ft 6in to 13ft 1in. Mount it at least 8ft above the floor. Without a deflector it needs 3ft of clearance to the ceiling and to each side; the heat deflector (BH3030011) cuts the ceiling clearance to 14in. Gas heaters are on/off only, and controls are not included and are sold separately. Switch the outlet with a standard wall switch, or add the Bromic Affinity On/Off control, which runs up to 10 gas heaters from the Bromic Heating app.
How many BTUs is the Bromic Tungsten 300 Series?
26,000 BTU from 3 burner tiles, enough to heat up to 160 square feet (a heat zone of about 12.3ft x 13ft) when mounted at 8-9ft in a covered, low-wind space. For more coverage, the Tungsten 500 Series puts out 43,000 BTU for up to 215 sq. ft.
Is it available in natural gas or propane?
Both. Choose Natural Gas or Liquid Propane at checkout. Model numbers: Natural Gas: BH0210001-1; Liquid Propane: BH0210002-1.
Does a gas patio heater need electricity?
Yes. It comes with a power cord for a standard 110V outlet and draws 2 amps for its electronic ignition. Several heaters can share one switched outlet circuit.
Can I angle the heat?
Yes. The Tungsten gas bracket has a bi-directional pivot arm that rotates 25° to each side, so you can aim the heat at your seating.
Can I install it under a covered patio?
Yes, and Bromic requires it to be protected from rain, so a covered patio is the right spot. Mount it at least 8ft above the floor with 3ft of clearance to the ceiling (14" with the heat deflector) and 3ft to each side. The space must be open-air with natural ventilation, such as a patio cover with no more than two walls; it is not approved for indoor use.
How do I control a Bromic gas heater?
Gas models are on/off only, and controls are sold separately. Plug into a switched outlet and use a wall switch, or add the Bromic Affinity On/Off control to run up to 10 gas heaters from the Bromic Heating app with timers and schedules.

Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the continental United States only. We don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada at this time.

How does freight delivery work?
