The Broilmaster 32-Inch B-Series Grill Insulated Jacket (BSASL32) is required when installing any BSB324 32-inch B-Series grill head — or the BSB322G 32-inch gas griddle head — into a combustible outdoor kitchen island structure. The double-lined stainless steel jacket creates the required thermal barrier between the appliance and surrounding combustible materials. If your island is built from non-combustible materials, consult Broilmaster's installation manual and your local building codes to determine whether the jacket is required.
