The American Made Grills Drop-In Infrared Sear Burner (IRB-EST) is a ceramic infrared drop-in burner that replaces one main burner position in a compatible Estate/Estate Freedom series grill, adding a dedicated high-heat searing zone capable of reaching 1600°F. At 26,000 BTU, the ceramic element converts gas combustion into direct radiant heat rather than heating surrounding air — producing faster surface caramelization and a Maillard crust that standard convection burners cannot match at the same BTU output. Installing this burner replaces one standard main burner position: your grill gains a sear zone but has one fewer standard convection burner. Compatible with: Estate and Estate Freedom series grills (EST30, EST36, EST42, EST30-FR, EST36-FR, EST42-FR) Not compatible with Alturi, Atlas, or Encore/Muscle grills..
