The American Made Grills Alturi Smoker Tray (SSMK-ALT) is a #304 stainless steel wood-chip smoker tray that slides between the ceramic briquettes and the cooking grates in compatible Alturi series grills, adding controlled wood-smoke flavor to gas-grilled food. Fill it with soaked wood chips — hickory, apple, cherry, mesquite, or pecan — and the heat from the gas burners slowly smolders the chips while you cook. Compatible with: Alturi 30", 36", and 42" grills (ALT-30T, ALT-36T, ALT-42T — built-in and freestanding). Not compatible with other AMG series. For Estate and Estate Freedom grills, see SSMK-EST.

Care & Use Notes
  • Pre-soak wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes before filling the tray for slower, more consistent smoke production.
  • Clean the tray after each use to remove ash and debris buildup.
  • Allow the tray to cool completely before removing from the grill.
