The American Made Grills 18" Vented LP/Trash Storage Drawer (DR1-18LP) is a vented roll-out drawer designed for outdoor kitchen islands that need to store a standard propane (LP) tank or a trash receptacle in an enclosed island compartment. The ventilation louvers are a code requirement — LP gas (propane) is heavier than air, and in an unvented enclosed space, even a minor leak accumulates at floor level and creates a fire hazard. This drawer's venting allows any escaped gas to dissipate safely.
